Distribution
STATUS: A common species. Widely distributed.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfor Island; Japen Island: Ambaidiru; New Guinea: Abepura, Abmisibil, Andai, Batimban, Bayun, Borme, Dabra, Enarotali, Jayapura, Marina Valen, Fakfak, Kloofbivak, Kobakma, Manokwari, Mokwam, Sarmi, Senopi, Uapa, Ubrub, Wamena, Wasior, Welesi, Yongsu. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian region from India and Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia, Moluccas, New Guinea, Christmas Island (not found on mainland of Australia).
